Adimiron are one of the finest Thrash/Progressive Metal bands from the Roman scene.
"When Reality wakes up" is their second full length album, and proves the band's constant evolution ever since they started playing back in 2001. And if their first work, "Burning Souls" received excellent feedback from international press, the new LP should be the ticket for the definitive breakthrough.
Starting from the sound of Pantera, Sepultura and Meshuggah, the band have worked their way to a personal style, that also makes the most of modern production, managing to not sound old fashionaed in what is today considered to be a highly inflated genre. The 7 string riffs by the band's two guitarists, and the powerhouse drumming by Federico Maragoni lay the settings for a journey into what makes heavy metal interesting even in 2008: a no-let-down, adrenaline packed ride that will interest all true fans of the genre.
The band also has a vast live experience, having played in many important local and international festivals (alongside such cult bands as Tankard, Impaled Nazarene and Pungent Stench), and having headlined a European tour of their own.
