SMIDER_MONK is a duo consisting of a Jazz pianist [SaimonK] and an electronic music composer [ Smider_].
In the beginning of 2007 they accidentally decided to begin a project
based on piano improvisation upon synthetic drum edits so as to create a mix between IDM and POSTJAZZ.
SmideR _ is a former drummer who, having fallen in love with electronics, began experimenting with drum sounds and atmospheres, currently attempting the study of synthesis between these sounds and digital audio. He has been in charge of sound design for various videoclips, and currently
works on real time audio applications with a custom software[S.noisePlug].
SaimonK is a classical Jazz pianist. He enjoys jamming and improvising and has dedicated years to the study of the instrument and harmonic research.
